MACADAMIA TREES
- 500 mixed variety trees around 18 years old
- 1000 - 814 trees 4 years old
- 1000 - 816 trees 4 years old
All new plantings are well spaced (8mx4m) with roads between every row.
All macs are irrigated with advanced micro jet system and industrial pump big enough to accommodate the existing trees and the remaining vacant land (approximately 10 hectares).

MACADAMIA SHED
Area 1-consisting of 2x2ton ambient air dryers and 1 single lane dehusker.
Area 2-is a 4x4 Ford tractor with a 5-ton tipper trailer/also acts as our spray tank for macadamias, a tractor drawn grass slasher and tractor drawn blade.
Area 3 is the tool room/staff area, in here there are 4x mist blowers, 4x Stihl brush cutters, a Husqvarna brush cutter and a Husqvarna chainsaw. Also, smaller miscellaneous hand tools.
Area 4 is the chemical/fertiliser room.
The owner is busy purchasing another 4 ton dryer (R55000.00) ensuring adequate drying solution for a bumper harvest.

WATER MANAGEMENT
The farm has 5 dams (one large, one built recently), 2 of which are 1000000+ litres each and have emergency spillways, protecting these dam walls and limiting the flow into the bottom three dams in order to protect them. (The volumes of these dams are significantly lower).
Irrigation water is drawn from the top 1000000+ litre dam.
From the second 1000000+ litre dam we draw water from our water filtration system (which has been newly installed) which supplies all the farm properties with water. This system is fully automated and consists of 5000 litre storage tank (where water is chlorinated) which feeds a 10000 litre flocculent tank, which overflows to another ten thousand litre tank before being fed through an iron filter followed by a glass and charcoal filter before going through 2x2 micron filters and ending with two ultra filtration filters. Before being stored in two 10000 litre water tanks. From there water is fed down to individual 5000 litre tanks which supply the houses. (Most properties are fitted with pressure pumps except where there is sufficient gravity to feed properties.)
There is also an automated borehole which feeds the main house.
